The New Business Startup Initiative was established by the Office of Corporate Relations to help create, support and sustain new startup companies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Initiative assists faculty, staff and students considering startup ventures based on UW-Madison research or based on ideas derived through their campus experience.

Faculty and staff interested in starting a business can use the OCR Web site to learn about the UW-Madison New Business Start-Up Program, which provides a central point of contact for those thinking of forming a new business.
