Looking for ways to advance your business or industry? UW–Madison channels our research and discovery through these three organizations:
- Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF)
WARF serves the UW–Madison scientific community by patenting the discoveries of UW–Madison researchers and licensing these technologies to leading companies in Wisconsin, the United States and worldwide.
- University Research Park
University Research Park, established in 1984 and located three miles west of the UW-Madison campus, is home to more than 115 companies that employ over 3,500 people. The non-profit, internationally recognized research and technology park has 36 buildings with more than 1.5 million square feet of office and laboratory space used by a broad range of start-up companies, many of which are focused on biotechnology.
- WiSys, Inc.
WiSys, Inc. identifies innovative technologies developed throughout the University of Wisconsin System and brings them to the marketplace for the benefit of the inventors, their colleges, Wisconsin’s economy and society as a whole.
